Operational convenience – These systems are very easy to set up and very little if any knowledge would be required to set these systems up. Functions – designed for mobile solution to bring CCTV to the Automotive Industry it has an array of features from Timer Delay Power off to Alarm record. This is what makes these DVRs ideal for the Home market as well. Camera connectivity – There are two ways to connect the cameras conventional AV lead with a BNC connector or use the Mini Din adaptor to enable the DVR to power the cameras as well as receive video footage. Storage of Recordings – Video footage is stored on the internal Hard Drive held in the removable DVR caddy. Dependant on the DVR you can Have Motion Detect Alarm Record or Continuous this is the default setting. Recording frames per second (fps) is 25fps for PAL (UK usually uses PAL). The length of time these systems will record for is dependent on the HDD installed and recording settings required i.e. the higher the seating the short the recording time permitted before over writing will be incurred. .
Viewing images– Using the USB docking Station (not Supplied) makes life very easy couldn’t be simpler. The video output on the rear of the unit can be connected to a monitor normally using a standard AV cable. Images can also be downloaded to a computer for storing or viewing via the USB port or the PC Hardware (Not Supplied). Simply remove the hard drive from the DVR connect it in to the docking hardware and plug into your computer. The software will auto detect this hard drive.. Locking – The hard drive its self is locked in to the DVR to prevent theft or erasing and also acts as a preventer for accidently spiking the hard drive. Using the DVR – There are 2 types of remote controls wired and IR handsets dependant on the model DVR you buy but they all provided easy access with full control Power Options are as follows - operating from 11–30 Volts DC DVR can be connected to a battery or vehicle or it can be run from a mains electricity supply via a suitable power supply. Unlike power hungry alternative units this unit typically draws less than 2amps |
