Product Description |
The CANM8-TOW interface has been designed to provide the lighting outputs required for trailers, caravans and tow lighting boards with only four wiring connections to the vehicle electrics.
The interface functions by sensing vehicle lighting activation on the CAN Bus system and then creating independent 12v outputs to power the corresponding towing lights.
Additionally, the interface features 2 intelligently controlled charging outputs for charging an auxilliary battery and maintaining power to the caravan refridgerator. These 12v outputs are activated automatically when the interface detects the vehicle moving and are shut down when the vehicle comes to a halt. This reduces unneccessary load on the vehicle alternator while the vehicle is running but is stationary.
